• Tilak Varma started playing cricket at the age of 9.
• In his childhood, he used to play tennis and Cricket.
• It was an incident that made a turning point in Tilak’s life.
• At the age of 11, while playing with friends, Tilak met Salim Bayash.
• Salim Bayash is professionally a cricket coach and is the first coach of Tilak.
• Salim Bayash noticed the excellence of Tilak’s batting skills and recognised his potential as a future batsman for India.
• However, Tilak’s father expressed concern about their financial situation and inability to afford the cricket academy fees.
• Salim Bayash was impressed by Tilak’s talent and offered him free training from his side.
• Salim was a good person he took responsibility for Tilak’s as his cricket coach.
• Salim used to pick up and drop Tilak up to his house for the academy every day, despite the challenge of distance of 40 km Between house and the academy.
• Eventually, Salim Bayash suggested to Tilak’s parents to relocate closer to the academy for Tilak’s convenience, and Tilak’s parents agreed.
